WordPress RSS Widgets

If you have a WordPress blog then you surely know about all the cool customization possibilities offered to admins.

One of the better options for SEO is customizing the sidebar with a widget. The WordPress RSS Widget allows you to add a section that displays the posts from any blog that has an RSS FEed (almost all blogs!).

So if you have another similar related blog why not put up an RSS feed widget in the sidebar (or footer) and have the latest articles get linked.

The best thing about it is that the sidebar will automatically update the links when the feed changes and new material is added.

This can be a huge boost and help from a SEO standpoint, but also offer vistors something related they will enjoy.

Now you can also use the standard WordPress RSS widget to send people to other blogs or any feed – even ones you don’t own. You can therefor match the content very specifically.

The options of the WordPress RSS Widget allow you to pick how many posts you want linked along with an option for date and author. You can even include an excerpt with each post link. That’s great for adding extra words to your pages!

All in all this is one widget that must be taken advantage of.
